1. Payment Terms Overview
A B Ford Jr Contracting Services is committed to transparent pricing and fair business practices. This Refund Policy outlines our payment terms, refund eligibility, and procedures for handling financial transactions related to our mobile home repair services.
2. Deposit Requirements
For most service projects, we require a deposit before work begins. This deposit:
- Secures your scheduled appointment
- Covers material procurement for your project
- Is applied to your final invoice
Deposit amounts vary by project size and will be clearly stated in your written estimate. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has commenced.
3. Project Completion Payment
Payment for completed work is due upon final inspection and client approval. We accept:
- Cash
- Checks (made payable to A B Ford Jr Contracting Services)
- Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
Payment is due net 7 days from invoice date unless otherwise specified in your service agreement.
4. Refund Eligibility
Given the nature of custom repair and construction services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Generally:
Materials and Supplies
Special-ordered materials that cannot be returned to suppliers are not eligible for refund. This includes custom-cut roofing materials, special-order fixtures, and items procured specifically for your project.
Service-Related Concerns
If you are unsatisfied with the quality of workmanship, we are committed to making it right. Our priority is your satisfaction. If issues arise after project completion, please contact us immediately so we can assess and address your concerns.
Overpayments
Any overpayments or duplicate payments will be refunded within 30 days of discovery. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible.
5. Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about billing or believe a refund is warranted:

- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
We strive to resolve all disputes amicably and professionally.
6. Warranty Work
Work performed under warranty is provided at our discretion and according to the terms specified in your service agreement. Warranty work does not constitute a refund but ensures your satisfaction through corrective action at no additional labor cost.
7. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a scheduled project:
- More than 72 hours before scheduled start: Deposit may be applied to future service or refunded (minus any material ordering fees)
- 48-72 hours before scheduled start: 50% of deposit retained for administrative and scheduling costs
- Less than 48 hours before scheduled start: Deposit non-refundable (materials may have been ordered)
- After work has begun: Payment for work completed is due; refunds not available for partial projects
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon posting.
